OUR STORY
MDCompositi was founded in 2008, when we decided to take our years of experience and expertise acquired in the yachting sector and focus them our other big passion: motorcycles.
Our core business is the development and manufacturing of fiberglass and carbon components. We design, develop and craft bodywork parts in composite material for motorcycles — and while we mostly base these on original components, we can also create entirely unique and customised products from scratch.
What we do
Our fiberglass products are all made by manual lamination and using molds. We use polyester gelcoat for the external finish and orthophthalic resin for the layering of MAT or fabrics. The final product has an average thickness of 3mm and includes reinforced fittings and steel brackets where necessary.
All our fiberglass items are sold ready to paint (white finish).
Our carbon fiber parts replace or complement the original plastic and metal parts on a motorcycle, allowing high-quality customization of every detail according to style and taste. And in addition to looking great, carbon fiber offers a long series of advantages over other materials: high mechanical strength, thermal insulation, lightness, elasticity and durability — even in adverse conditions.
